We are gradually coming out of it, but there is still a lot of uncertainty in the wedding industry. This is because of the pandemic. You however can’t let that affect your wedding planning. Please go ahead and take each day as it comes. If you however find yourself in a position where it seems your wedding will be affected, the following steps can make all the difference.
- If Possible, Postpone Instead of Canceling
It’s going to be a little hard because you’ll feel like you don’t have the energy. But this is YOUR WEDDING, don’t let the pandemic get you down. You may have to end up with a smaller ceremony, or you could end up getting married at a different season, but the result will be the same. You’ll be marrying the love of your life, and it will be worth it in the end. Don’t let this break your spirit, take a deep breath, and start to put together a Plan B.
- Talk to Your Venue and Vendors
If you’re going to have to postpone, talk to your venue and your vendors too. You could use either voice or video calls, but be sure to discuss the effect the pandemic is going to have on your wedding. If you have a wedding planner, they can help facilitate this. If you don’t, go ahead and reach out personally. Be prepared to get varying responses, but most will be more than ready to help you reschedule. You have to know where you stand with your vendors and venue before you can proceed with plans.
- Remember That There Will Always Be A Solution
Whenever you are overwhelmed and going through a challenging time, remember that there is always a solution. You’ll get through this. This pandemic won’t last forever. We will all get through this, and we will come out stronger. Best of luck, and stay safe!
